Mountlake Terrace recognizes volunteers

Over 50 guests attended a Jan. 31 recognition event for volunteers serving on Mountlake Terrace city boards, commissions and committees.

Special recognition was given to:

Planning Commission Chair Alice Kier has provided 25 consecutive years of combined service on the Planning Commission and Downtown Revitalization Committee.

Recreation and Parks Commissioner Keith Edholm was recognized with nearly 24 consecutive years of service. He and his wife, Carol, have been at nearly every park clean up and major city event during that time.

Belinda Riba was recognized for her 22 years of service on the Neighborhood Parks Improvement Subcommittee.
