Arlington man identified as victim of crash

GRANITE FALLS — Officials have identified a man who died in a crash near Granite Falls on Feb. 14 as Richard K. Erickson, 43, of Arlington.

Erickson’s death was ruled an accident, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office The county sheriff’s office is investigating.

Erickson apparently lost control while driving and struck a tree, according to police. The crash was reported just before 1 p.m. along the Mountain Loop Highway, about 3.5 miles east of Granite Falls.
