A couple dogs looking for new homes
Chevelle is a fun loving active dog looking for a new home! She will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs that also need to be about her size. She is a bit bossy and would do best with male K9 friends. Chevelle needs a large securely fenced yard to burn off some energy and is not suited for apartment living. Any children in the home need to be used to large rambunctious dogs. Chevelle will need a feline/small animal free home. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Jack is looking for a home without any other animals. He was surrendered to the shelter for barking so is not suited for apartment/condo living. Any children in the home must be over 10 years old. Jack enjoys swimming and running around. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
