King’s | Boys Basketball

The sophomore scored 21 points in a win over Meridian on Tuesday and had 18 in Saturday’s 1A district 1 championship win over Lynden Christian.

Edmonds-Woodway | Girls Basketball

The senior scored 25 points in a win over Stanwood in the opening round of the 3A district 1 girls basketball tournament on Friday. The Warriors play Lynnwood in Tuesday’s semifinals.

Sultan Wrestling Team

The Turks qualified a 15 wrestlers for this week’s Mat Classic with a victory in the 1A region 1 tournament. The Turks finished with 291 points, over 60 points ahead of Vashon, which finished second.

The senior set a meet record in the 500 freestyle and earned co-swimmer of the meet honors at the 2A district 1 championships this past Saturday.
