Silvertips’ offense explodes in win over Blazers

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Five different Silvertips players scored and Everett bounced back from a loss Friday to beat the B.C. Division-leading Kamloops Blazers 7-5 on Saturday night at Sandman Centre.
Bryce Kindopp and Gage Goncalves each scored twice, and Jake Christiansen, Olen Zellweger and Cole Fonstad added a goal apiece in Everett’s victory. Fonstad also chipped in three assists.
Zellweger’s goal at 7:13 in the second period was his first of the season. Kindopp’s second goal at 8:50 in the third proved to be the game-winner.
Keegan Karki stopped 35 of 40 shots for the Silvertips (25-7-2-0).
Orrin Centazzo scored twice and Logan Stankoven, Connor Zary and Max Martin each added a goal for the Blazers (22-10-2-1).
