WASILLA, AK — Emily Vandegrift had a strong all-around game with 12 points, seven rebounds, five steals and three assists to help lead Lake Stevens over Thunder Mountain of Juneau in the Vikings’ opener at the Doc Larson Roundball Tournament in Wasilla, Alaska on Monday. Emma Smith and Hailey Wilson also added 12 points apiece for the Vikings, who continue in the tournament with games against Barrow (Barrow, Ala.) Tuesday and host Wasilla on Wednesday.
