We’re not getting facts from media on police shootings

I’m amazed and saddened to see all the destruction by antifa and BLM, all based on a false premise, and the fact that the media do nothing to correct the assumption. There is no systemic racism in policing in America.

All you have to do is check out the FBI Uniform Crime Report, or the crime reports of individual cities. In 2019 in the United States, nine unarmed black men were killed by police, and 19 unarmed white men were killed by police. Armed and dangerous approximately, 235 black men, and 450 white men were killed by police in 2019. The George Floyd riots killed 22 people (not by police) but by the BLM and antifa mob.

The media is woefully negligent in their responsibility to print the truth. In the last four years the declining trust in the media has plummeted even more. In a recent poll (July 2020) the Knight Foundation and Gallup surveyed 20,000 Americans; 82 percent thought the media deliberately misrepresented the facts or just made stuff up. Unfortunately, the mainstream media is too far gone to gain back the trust they once had.
