We won’t be getting coffee from Bargreens now

As residents of Everett, we try to support local businesses whenever possible, from restaurants to auto repair shops to coffee. Because of this we chose Bargreens as our local coffee roaster. When we couldn’t get coffee beans at their business on Rucker, we would buy their beans at QFC.

After reading of their fleecing of Everett residents, we can no longer support the Bargreen heirs (“Everett coffee heirs get $590K over crane color, ending saga,” The Herald, Dec. 6). We prefer coffee roasters that don’t take over half a million dollars from their customers. Surely there is a local roaster more deserving of our money- a roaster that knows better than to bite the hand that feeds it.

Our relationship with Bargreens is over. Enjoy your view.
