Like Medicare, there would be costs for Medicare for All

In response to a recent letter to the editor in support of Medicare for All; while I do agree with Medicare for All, it needs to be said that Medicare is not free. This year it costs $148.50 per month for part B. Part A is free. And a good Advantage Plan supplemental another $33 per month. This covers a lot of what Medicare doesn’t including prescriptions. For a total of $181.50.
