State volleyball results for Saturday, Nov. 20:

4A STATE TOURNAMENT

At Yakima Valley SunDome

7th/8th Consolation Semifinals

YAKIMA — Third-seeded Lake Stevens beat No. 10 Kamiakin by scores of 25-22, 18-25, 26-24 and 25-23 in a consolation semifinal on Saturday.

Lake Stevens will advance to face No. 9 Olympia in the seventh/eighth-place match later Saturday evening.

7th/8th-place Match

YAKIMA — Third-seeded Lake Stevens beat No. 9 Olympia 28-26, 19-25, 25-22, 25-23 to earn a seventh-place trophy from the 4A state tournament on Saturday.

The Vikings were one of the handful of favorites to win a state title, but were upset in the opening round by No. 14 West Valley (Yakima). They fell into the consolation bracket and did not lose another game.

Lake Stevens finished its season with a 19-2 overall record.
