Dust Devils deliver AquaSox 6th consecutive loss

PASCO — Four Tri-City pitchers held Everett to just two hits and the Dust Devils handed the AquaSox their sixth straight loss, 4-0, on Tuesday evening at Gesa Stadium.

Osmy Gregorio plated D’Shawn Knowles on a sacrifice fly in the first inning as the Dust Devils took the lead right away.

Tri-City added two more runs in the bottom of the third on an RBI triple from Kyren Paris and a sacrifice fly by Gabe Matthews.

Straton Podaras scored the final run of the game when Gregorio grounded into a double play with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth.

Alberto Rodriguez and James Parker had the lone base hits for the AquaSox.

Logan Rinehart started on the mound for Everett (48-54) and allowed three runs in six hits in six quality innings. Rinehart struck out four and walked only one.

John Swanda struck out six in four scoreless innings of relief for Tri-City (42-58).
