Mural’s creativity should have been preserved

Regarding the mural that was painted over: (“Everett building owner asks graffiti mural to be painted over,” The Herald, Aug. 9).

Yes, everyone has an opinion, but wouldn’t it be nice if we could broaden our minds, embrace a higher consciousness regarding all creation, the universe, people and our oneness in it instead of what might be considered narrow minded judgements?

Yes, I have an opinion; I did not see that the mural spoke negatively or inappropriately about the church, it was art. I saw that the artists’ efforts were generous, playful and they “created.” I saw they worked hard on behalf of others. How sad it was destroyed.
