I’ll vote for Republicans when they disavow Trump

In response to a recent letter asking if voters were tired of voting for Democrats:
The analogy is well taken, and it applies as well to Republicans kowtowing to Donald Trump. Yes, as an independent (albeit with liberal leanings), I am “tired of all this.”
Indeed, I might well “Vote Republican” in November; or at least for those I feel most qualified and responsive to the needs of the office involved. But, that is, if, and only if, before then, the GOP, as a party, and every candidate nominated, supported or endorsed by the GOP permanently disassociate themselves from Donald Trump, his support and influence. (Oh, the relief would be so great!)
If that doesn’t happen, I cannot, in good faith, vote for any Republican or Republican-endorsed candidate.
