Seattle Sounders legacy of success requires a rebuild

When it comes to this season for the Seattle Sounders, it has been a disappointing one even though they became the first MLS club to win the Concacaf Champions League in May. A team with the history and success the Sounders have should not be missing the playoffs despite the injuries we had to key players.

As a longtime fan of the team since the USL days, I feel as though a significant rebuild is needed in order to remain among the best in MLS. Missing the playoffs should be the wake-up call the front office needs in order to make those major changes. Hopefully 2023 will be a season of significant improvements. Go Sounders!
