Herald’s endorsement of Sen. Murray journalistic malpractice

What part of $5-a-gallon gas, diesel fuel shortages and 8 percent inflation led The Daily Herald to endorse Sen. Murray for a return to the U.S. Senate for a sixth term (“Murray’s effective leadership warrants reelection,” The Herald, Oct. 2).

Murray has voted “yes” to pass almost every piece of legislation President Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer set in front of her. After 30 years in politics I think we had a right to expect more from Murray. I think we also have a right to expect more from The Daily Herald editorial staff than to expect we will get any better results from Murray in a new term. Very unlikely with Biden serving as president.

Endorsing Murray given her record is quite simply a case of journalistic malpractice. But you can undo the endorsement. I suggest that The Daily Herald acknowledge its mistake and withdraw the endorsement now. Biden-Schumer-Murray are destroying America in a way that no foreign enemy ever could.
