Herald should broaden coverage of arts, entertainment

I am sad to read of the departure of the Herald’s food writer Taylor Goebel, who did a great job (“Our food writer bids farewell,” The Herald, Dec. 6).

Perhaps now is a good time for Herald editors to also consider bringing back regular arts coverage, which many readers have missed.

The Thursday calendar is helpful, but not nearly what The Herald is capable of offering.

Please hire a food writer who also would write about the fine and performing arts.
