Grandfather advised against voting for incumbents

As to The Herald’s endorsements of the current slew of incumbents (most of whom are hoping you forget their past voting record), I’m reminded of the single greatest piece of advice my grandfather ever gave me, when I was just a small lad. He said, “Never reelect anybody.”

I’m now 62, and it’s just as true now, as it was then. Perhaps even more so.
