Waits Motel should be condemned

The Everett City Council’s recent vote on condemning the Waits Motel will help turn a problem property into a community benefit (“Waits Motel condemnation moves forward with Everett council’s OK,” The Herald, July 13).

I’m proud of my city council for doing something about the danger that illegal activity at the motels brings to residential neighborhoods in North Everett.
