Six-month sentence for ‘grooming’ too short for harm caused

I’m writing regarding the sentencing of a man, the owner of SnoTown Brewery, Frank Sandoval, from ‘grooming’ a girl (“Snohomish brewery owner gets 6 months in jail for ‘grooming’ girl,” The Herald, Dec. 13).

I don’t care if his supporters wrote about how wonderful he is. I write to support the victim. Sandoval had no right to proposition the girl for his own gratification. She did nothing wrong. She have every right to work, visit or be around adults without being made to feel uncomfortable. Shame on individuals who don’t throw their support around innocent victims.

As far as I’m concerned, his six month sentence was far too short.
