Nice to read former columnist Simoneaux in Herald again

It was a pleasant and delightful pleasure to read the Herald Forum essay written by Larry Simoneaux (“Small examples of human kindness deserve this: Thanks,” The Herald, Dec. 16)

I truly enjoyed and looked forward to reading his columns over the many years he was a Daily Herald columnist.

I’ve missed his column’s and was sorry he retired from column writing. His articles, like the referenced column, were always practical, common sense-orientated and caused one to really think about the thrust of the article, and many were truly uplifting.

It was a good inspiring article, especially for the holiday season, and should entice people to think about human kindness and doing the right thing.
