BOYS BASKETBALL

4A District 1/2 Tournament

Semifinals (winner to state regionals)

Glacier Peak 74, Redmond 47

SNOHOMISH — Isaiah Cuellar scored 22 points, Jo Lee had 21 and the second-seeded Grizzlies cruised past the sixth-seeded Mustangs in a winner-to-state Class 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament semifinal game.

Reed Nagel added 11 points for Glacier Peak (22-1), which outscored Redmond 41-24 to run away in the second half. The Grizzlies advanced to face top-seeded Mount Si in the bi-district title game 7 p.m. Friday at North Creek High School.

Kyle Paddleford netted 15 points and Cooper Kunz chipped in 11 for Redmond (11-13). The Mustangs will face the winner of ninth-seeded North Creek vs. fourth-seeded Skyline in a winner-to-state consolation game Thursday.

Mount Si 66, Jackson 52

SNOQUALMIE — The fifth-seeded Timberwolves fell to the top-seeded Wildcats in a winner-to-state Class 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament semifinal contest.

Ryan Mcferran scored 20 points, Colby Cooke netted 17 and Joey Gosline added 10 for Jackson (15-8). The Timberwolves fell to a winner-to-state consolation game Thursday at third-seeded Woodinville.

Latt Ford had 19 points and Brady Hennig chipped in 15 to lead Mount Si (22-2). The Wildcats advanced to face second-seeded Glacier Peak in the bi-district title game 7 p.m. Friday at North Creek High School.

Consolations (loser out)

Woodinville 46, Lake Stevens 44

WOODINVILLE — The 10th-seeded Vikings fell just short against the third-seeded Falcons in a loser-out consolation game of the Class 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament.

Javon Mcferrin scored 18 points and Cooper Graham added 10 for Lake Stevens (9-13).

Jaiden Blackmon netted a game-high 19 points and Jamo Atwood chipped in 11 for Woodinville (16-8). The Falcons advanced to host fifth-seeded Jackson in a winner-to-state consolation game Thursday.

3A District 1 Tournament

Semifinals (winner to state regionals)

Arlington 59, Mount Vernon 56

MARYSVILLE — Jake Willis buried the go-ahead 3-pointer in the closing moments and the third-seeded Eagles held on to beat the second-seeded Bulldogs in a winner-to-state Class 3A District 1 tournament semifinal showdown.

Arlington (17-6) advanced to face top-seeded Mountlake Terrace in the district title game 6 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Mount Vernon (19-3) falls to a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game against fifth-seeded Monroe at 2 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Mountlake Terrace 51, Shorecrest 27

MARYSVILLE — The top-seed Hawks overcame an early hole and locked down defensively to stifle the fourth-seed Scots in a winner-to-state Class 3A District 1 tournament semifinal tilt.

Mountlake Terrace (21-1) advances to face third-seeded Arlington in the district title game 6 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Shorecrest (14-8) fell to a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game against sixth-seeded Marysville Getchell at 10 a.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Marysville Getchell 72, Everett 51

MARYSVILLE — Bubba Palacol stuffed the stat sheet with 20 points, nine steals and seven assists as the sixth-seeded Chargers bounced the seventh-seeded Seagulls in a loser-out consolation game of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Zach Rice scored 17 points, Zack Pittman had 16, Shawn Etheridge added eight points and eight assists and Ano Palacol chipped in eight points and five assists for Marysville Getchell (17-6). The Chargers move on to face fourth-seeded Shorecrest a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game 10 a.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Ty Bloomfield had 18 points and Isaiah White added nine for Everett (13-11).

Monroe 57, Shorewood 48

MONROE — Ethan Hogan registered 21 points and nine rebounds as the fifth-seeded Bearcats used a strong third quarter to surge ahead and beat eighth-seeded Stormrays in a loser-out consolation game of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Chayce Waite-Kellar had nine points and 15 rebounds and Wyatt Prohn scored eight of his nine points in the third for Monroe (15-8), which outscored Shorewood 20-6 in the third. Hogan and Waite-Kellar added four blocks apiece. The Bearcats advance to second-seeded Mount Vernon in a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game against fifth-seeded Monroe at 2 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Abel Mehari poured in a game-high 23 points, Jaden Marlow had 14 and Thomas Moles added 11 to provide all the scoring for Shorewood (12-9).

1B District 1/2/3 Tournament

Quarterfinals (Winner to state)

Tulalip Heritage 62, Sound Christian Academy 54

TACOMA — The fourth-seeded Hawks topped the fifth-seeded Lions in a winner-to-state Class 1B tri-district 1/2/3 quarterfinal tilt.

Tulalip Heritage (16-7) advanced to face top-seeded Lummi in the semifinals 4:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Vernon Christian High School.

Sound Christian Academy (15-7) will face eighth-seeded Crescent in a consolation game 7:30 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Lutheran High School.

Semifinals (winner to state regionals)

Bothell 42, Lake Stevens 39

LAKE STEVENS — The second-seeded Vikings fell to the third-seeded Cougars in a winner-to-state Class 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament semifinal contest.

Nisa Ellis scored 12 points, Keira Tupua netted 10 and Griffyn Eyman added nine for Lake Stevens (17-3). The Vikings will host eighth-seeded Kamiak in a winner-to-state consolation game Thursday.

Ashlyn Peterson registered 12 points and Charlotte Lipkin and Tun McConnell had 11 apiece for Bothell (20-4)/ The Cougars advanced to face top-seeded Woodinville in the bi-district title game 5:30 p.m. Friday at North Creek High School.

Consolations (loser out)

Newport 57, Glacier Peak 52

BELLEVUE — The 10th-seeded Grizzlies fell to the sixth-seeded Knights in a loser-out consolation game of the Class 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament.

Glacier Peak ended its season 6-18.

Newport (10-14) will travel to face fourth-seeded Eastlake in a winner-to-state consolation game 7 p.m. Thursday.

Kamiak 63, Jackson 53

MILL CREEK — The eighth-seeded Knights topped the fifth-seeded Timberwolves in a loser-out consolation contest of the Class 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament.

Kamiak (13-9) advance to a winner-to-state consolation game Thursday at second-seeded Lake Stevens.

Jackson finished it season 14-9.

1A District 2 Tournament

Semifinals

King’s 60, Overlake 8

SHORELINE — The top-seeded Knights routed the fourth-seeded Owls in a winner-to-state Emerald Sound Conference tournament semifinal game.

King’s (16-9) will host second-seeded Seattle Academy in the championship game 2 p.m. Saturday.

Overlake (8-11) will host sixth-seeded Granite Falls in a loser-out consolation bracket game 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Consolations (loser out)

Sultan 42, Bush 36

GRANITE FALLS — Ranah Rylah scored a team-high 14 points as the fifth-seeded Turks staved off elimination with a victory over the eighth-seeded Blazers in a loser-out consolation bracket game of the Emerald Sound Conference tournament.

Rashell Salisbury had eight points and Wendy Asper and McKenna Murphy added six apiece for Sultan (6-17). The Turks will travel to face third-seeded Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) in a loser-out game 6 p.m. Thursday.

Sanvi Agarwal knocked down five 3-pointers and had a game-high 17 points for Bush (12-6).

Granite Falls 50, University Prep 24

GRANITE FALLS — The sixth-seeded Tigers raced past the seventh-seeded Pumas in a loser-out consolation bracket game of the Emerald Sound Conference tournament.

Granite Falls (21-3) will travel to face fourth-seeded Overlake in a loser-out consolation game 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

University Prep finished its season 15-6.

1B District 1/2/3 Tournament

Quarterfinals

Crosspoint 67, Darrington 12

BREMERTON — The seventh-seeded Loggers fell to the the second-seeded Warriors in a winner-to-state quarterfinal matchup of the Class 1B tri-district 1/2/3 tournament.

Darrington (12-11) will face sixth-seeded Sound Christian Academy in a loser-out consolation game 6 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Lutheran High School.

Crosspoint (21-2) will face third-seeded Mount Vernon Christian in the semifinals 6 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Lutheran High School.

Neah Bay 78, Grace Academy 12

NEAH BAY — The ninth-seeded Eagles fell to the top-seeded Red Devils in a winner-to-state quarterfinal matchup of the Class 1B tri-district 1/2/3 tournament.

Grace Academy (11-9) will travel to face fourth-seeded Evergreen Lutheran in a loser-out consolation game 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Neah Bay (16-2) will face fifth-seeded Lummi in the semifinals 6 p.m. Friday at Mount Vernon Christian High School.
