Mixed feelings about Everett’s property tax levy failure

It is with mixed feelings I have about the news that the Everett’s property tax levy failed. On the one hand, we the people could suffer some consequences of services cut. But on the other, most working people can’t afford anymore expenses added to daily life.

The city should have been clear on what the money was earmarked for, and realized small issues like the Clark Park gazebo and sitting on a sidewalk were on the ballot.

Like we were taught, if you don’t like what’s going on. Vote the bums out of office. We did just that!
