Superior Court judge: Rivera outstanding lawyer, judge

I served as a Superior Court Judge in Snohomish County for over 15 years. During that period I had the opportunity to observe a number of outstanding trial attorneys, in high stake situations. Whitney Rivera was clearly among the best I ever saw. She was smart, well-prepared, and persuasive.

I was excited to hear of Rivera’s appointment to the Superior Court bench. Outstanding trial lawyers often make the best trial judges; especially if they also couple their courtroom skills with other outstanding qualities. Rivera possesses a passion for justice, but in addition, she invariably treats people with fairness, compassion, and respect. I strongly urge local voters to retain Whitney Rivera as Superior Court judge.
