EVERETT — A high-speed pursuit from Lynnwood to Marysville resulted in Washington State Patrol troopers detaining four suspects early Tuesday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, troopers attempted a traffic stop of a vehicle going over 80 mph in a 60 mph zone, according to Washington State Patrol spokesperson Kelsey Harding. When the vehicle failed to stop, the trooper began a pursuit.

At the time, troopers had reasonable suspicion for a DUI, Harding said.

Troopers pursued the suspect vehicle on northbound I-5 near milepost 181 to exit 199, where the vehicle left I-5 near 4th Street in Marysville, Harding said. Then the vehicle attempted to get onto southbound I-5, where it crashed on the on-ramp around 3:40 a.m.

Four suspects, all of whom were minors, fled the scene on foot.

Around 4:30 a.m., Troopers had located and detained the suspects. No injuries were reported.
