Everett contractor hires several new employees
Nicole Sullivan, Trevor Graafstra, and Jenny Merk have joined Everett-based Kirtley-Cole Associates, a commercial general contractor. Sullivan, with seven years of industry experience, joins the team as project administrator. Graafstra has 17 years of industry experience and joins the team as senior project manager. Merk joins the team as human resources/payroll manager and has 20 years of industry experience.
Verizon looking to hire 20
Verizon Wireless announced that it is adding 20 sales and customer service positions at six regional stores, including its locations in Everett, Lynnwood, Marysville and Alderwood Mall. The company is hosting an Interview Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 at the Inn at Porter Gardner at 1700 West Marine View Drive, Everett.
Everett Olive Garden moves across the street
Today, the Everett Olive Garden will relocate to a bigger location directly across the street at 1310 SE Everett Mall Way. The restaurant will be led by general manager Jennifer Martin, an Olive Garden veteran of nearly 10 years. The new, 7,660-square-foot restaurant can host more than 240 guests.
Brazilian students to talk biofuel at Future of Flight
The Future of Flight Foundation invites the community to join five teams of students from Brazil who will present the results of aviation related biofuel projects. The presentations will take place from noon to 4 p.m. today in the Future of Flight Aviation Gallery, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo. Admission is free.
