Death of man hit by train ruled suicide

MUKILTEO — The death of a man who was struck by a train in Mukilteo on May 9 has been ruled a suicide.

The man was 53, and from Mukilteo, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The incident was reported at 10:20 p.m. near Lighthouse Park, 608 Front St., according to Mukilteo police.

The Herald is not naming the man because of the circumstances of his death.
