1 killed in hit-and-run involving motorcycle on Mukilteo Speedway

EVERETT — A deadly hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle closed part of the Mukilteo Speedway for four hours on Tuesday morning.
Officers responded around 6:50 a.m. to a crash blocking all southbound lanes the Mukilteo Speedway at Beverly Park Road, according to a social media post from the Mukilteo Police Department. One lane of northbound traffic and a turn lane were also closed.
Trooper Kelsey Harding with Washington State Highway Patrol said the crash was a fatal hit-and-run between a car and a motorcycle, a social media post said.
Mukilteo police said all lanes of the Mukilteo Speedway reopened to traffic around 11 a.m.
Troopers are investigating the crash.
