SHORELINE — With one out in the bottom of the eighth inning Anisa Gomez singled in Katie Shampoux from second base to give Shorecrest the 8-7 victory over Cascade in a nonleague game. Ivey Uppinghouse paced the Scots, batting 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, three RBI and three runs scored. Sage Anderson belted two home runs, including a grand slam, for the Bruins in the loss.
