Charlie is a very opinionated chi/pom and really likes things his way. He gets very attached to one or two people and does not like any interference by other animals or humans. He has lived with cats and done well but they also weren’t competing for his humans attention. Charlie is really a fun little dog he just likes things his way. He will need an adult only home and does not like to be picked up and kissed he finds that very offensive. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

Hank is a super active heeler mix! He is looking for a home that will provide him some jobs that include mental stimulation and physical activity. He is very smart and gets bored easily then he tends to take off looking for some fun which is dangerous. He has lived with other dogs both big and small but will need a meet and greet. He has lived with children but as with any dog he will need supervision. Hank will make a great running or hiking partner. He will need a feline free home and is not suited for apartment living. Kaiser is a very handsome and energetic boy who is obsessed with his tennis ball. If Kaiser was younger he likely would have been an excellent candidate for a law enforcement training program. DO NOT let this boy’s age fool you. He is a 1-year-old dog at heart and in stamina. Kaiser has yet to be adopted because the shelter cannot provide the amount of daily work/stimulation Kaiser truly needs and pent up energy leads him to bark non-stop with visitors to get people’s attention. Sadly Kaiser is begging each and every person who passes his kennel to take him for a run – or anything with great body and mind stimulation really. Kaiser is the daily workout coach you wish you had so that rain, sleet, or snow you are out running every single day staying fit and energized! Kaiser is not the biggest fan of children, so he requires an adult-only home. He also needs a home with no cats, but he does get along with most other like-sized dogs with proper and slow introductions. Like all high energy dogs, meet and greets are more successful when the dog has been properly exercised beforehand. Be sure to bring any resident K-9s in your home for a meet and greet. Are you as energetic and athletic as Kaiser? He has yet to meet his match – what about you? This mission is yours if you choose to accept it. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
