Playwrights get a chance to show their skills

So you want to be a published playwright? Here’s your chance.

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts seeks proposals and script suggestions from directors, artists and community members for WICA’s 2010-11 theater series.

Playwrights who would like their plays to be considered should submit the following:

  • a one-page synopsis of the play

  • a 10-page writing sample from the play

  • a playwright’s resume

  • a self-addressed, stamped envelope to have materials returned
