Local scholarship winners

The Lake Goodwin Community club awarded several scholarships to college-bound Snohomish County students.

The scholarship recipients are Lakewood High School students Emmett Wild, Nikolay Borison and Morgan Stewart; Stanwood High School student Tara Smith; and Marysville High School student Aimee Schoonover.

Snohomish foundation awards 103 scholarships

Snohomish Education Foundation awarded 103 scholarships totaling more than $67,600 to 93 Snohomish High School seniors.

The scholarship winners are listed below:

  • Anna Tremayne received the Bob Miller Memorial Scholarship.
  • Michael Baus received the Bruce Fritch Memorial Scholarship.
  • Stefan St. Marie, Michelle Green, Katheryn Mundell and Anna Jeager received Burt Family Scholarships.
  • Maria Ujifusa received the Cascade View PTA Scholarship.
  • Robert Weakly received the Cathcart Elementary PTO Scholarship.
  • Amanda Roth received the Cecil Holt Memorial Scholarship.
  • Kymberlee Larivee, Katherine McArthur, Katie Melnyk and Amanda McGuire received Chapter HW P.E.O. Scholarships.
  • Derek Britton and Emily Guthrie received Coach Armstrong Memorial Scholarships.
  • Sara Lloyd received the David Gilbert Memorial Scholarship.
  • Stevan Rexroat received the Don Wanser Memorial Scholarship.
  • Melissa Cook received the Duane Kuhlman Agriculture Scholarship. Ashley Caudle, Christopher Gamble and Jenna Evans received the Evans Memorial Scholarships.
  • Katherine Palmer received the Friends of Snohomish Public Library Scholarship.
  • Denae Steffen received the Frontier Bank DECA Scholarship.
  • Kelsey Hollingworth received the Harold and Hazel Marten Writer’s Award.
  • Hannah Whipple and Robert Weakly received the Harriet M. Shore Memorial Scholarships.
  • Derek Kuleta received the Jay Hajek Memorial Scholarship.
  • Joanna Balin received the John G. “Big John” Hoffman Scholarship.
  • Savannah Glasgow received the John Sather Memorial Scholarship.
  • Deryk Machado received the Ken Schilaty JROTC Scholarship.
  • Kristine Park received the Kossian Chiropractic Scholarship.
  • Rachel North received the Mark Cowgill Memorial Scholarship.
  • Ashley Caudle received the Pamela Mack Memorial Scholarship.
  • Jayden Davison received the Pat Kuhlman Nursing Scholarship.
  • Stephanie Geiger received the Patrick Castro Excellence in Music Award.
  • Collyn Crichton received the Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital Pre-Veterinary Scholarship.
  • Derek Britton and Nathaniel Meinhold received the Raymond “Dick” Daly Memorial Scholarships.
  • Alicia Weeks and Evan Harris received the Robinett Family Foundation Scholarships.
  • Ryan Lyski received the Scott West Memorial Scholarship.
  • Shayla McCaffery and Joanna Balin received the SHS Girl’s Volleyball Booster Club Scholarships.
  • Alanna Feltner received the Snohomish Family Medical Center Pre-Medicine Scholarship.
  • Kristen Gilbert received the Snohomish Garden Club Scholarship.
  • Laura Tompkins receives the Snohomish Historical Society Scholarship.
