TankFest at Paine Field museum

Looking for a Memorial Day event for the whole family? Head to Paine Field for the Flying Heritage Collection’s TankFest Northwest on Monday.

Besides the opportunity to see restored tanks, military vehicles and artillery weapons, the day’s events include driving and firing demonstrations, the Puget Sound Military Vehicle Collectors Club parade and the International Plastic Modelers Society’s military vehicle models.

TankFest hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Festival events are included with admission to the Flying Heritage Collection, $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, and $10 for ages 6 to 17. Children 5 and younger are admitted free.
