ARLINGTON — A motorcyclist died when an oncoming Jeep turned left in front of him Friday afternoon north of Arlington, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A motorcycle rider, 62, was headed south on Highway 9 on a Harley Davidson bike, when the northbound Jeep driver, 29, turned left at 252nd Street NE. The vehicles collided around 3:20 p.m.
The motorcyclist, an Arlington man, died at the scene.
The Jeep driver, of Camano Island, stayed and spoke with troopers. He was not arrested, trooper Heather Axtman said.
The state patrol continued to investigate Friday.
