EVERETT — A man died and a woman was hospitalized Sunday night after a car crash on I-5.
The Arlington man, 39, was driving south in a Toyota Echoaround 9 p.m. and over-corrected, hitting the guardrail and flipping the car onto its roof south of the 128th Street SW exit, according to the Washington State Patrol. Investigators cited speed as a cause.
He died at the scene. His name was not immediately available.
A passenger, a 28-year-old Everett woman, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
