BOTHELL — Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives were searching for a man who allegedly entered a home north of Bothell and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old child Friday.
When a second child awoke, the suspect fled the residence, according to the sheriff’s office. Detectives do not believe the suspect knew the victim, and this appeared to be a random incident.
Detectives were seeking anyone who lives at the Bailey Farm apartment complex, 1225 183rd St. SE, who might have video surveillance at their residence between 10 p.m. Thursday and 2 a.m. Friday.
Anyone with information or video surveillance is asked to contact the sheriff’s office tip line at 425-388-3845. Anyone with immediate suspect information is asked to call 911.
Detectives continued to investigate Friday.
