EVERETT — An Edmonds man was charged Thursday with second-degree murder in the death of his roommate.

The charge for Derrick “Wiz” Crawford, 22, was brought in Snohomish County Superior Court, along with a warrant for his arrest.

Crawford is wanted in connection with the shooting death of an Edmonds man, 27. The man was found with a gunshot wound to the head Saturday night at a home in the 17700 block of 76th Avenue W. He died later at a Seattle hospital. His name has not been released.

Law officers were seeking Crawford’s whereabouts on Thursday. He’s known to have ties to the Renton area.
