Fess Parker’s off-screen life filled with politics

Most stories today about Fess Parker will rightfully focus on his acting career and his place in the history of American culture for his portrayals of Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone.

I spent more time with Parker in Santa Barbara County talking wine, hashing politics and poring over documents of his latest development proposal.
