EVERETT — Gusts could top 40 mph Friday morning in Everett, the National Weather Service warned in a wind advisory.
The weather service warns the winds could result in power outages and tree damage in Snohomish County.
Winds are expected to develop early Friday and peak later in the morning, then subside later in the day.
On the Whidbey Island coastline, winds could reach 60 mph.
Winds are not expected to affect the ferry service, but departures and arrivals could be delayed, according to the state Department of Transportation. Passengers are encouraged to check the WSDOT website for any schedule changes.
