Kamiak teacher in final 2 for CMT contest

Kamiak High School math teacher Chance McKinney is one of two finalists in Country Music Television’s Music City Madness online contest. The contest is CMT’s search for the next country singer and songwriter and features original songs with accompanying music videos.
Herald writer Amy Daybert wrote about McKinney, “Teacher’s got talent,” last Thursday.
People can vote for McKinney’s song. “Be Real” at www.cmt.com as many times as they want.
The winner will be announced on Dec. 15.
