Historian David Dilgard plans to talk about the early days of Silver Lake at a public meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at the Silver Lake Activity Center, 11525 19th Ave. SE. It’s a treat to hear him speak. He’s one of those rare people who knows his stuff and can tell a story well.
