STANWOOD — A 39-year-old Stanwood man died Monday in a head-on crash on Highway 532, according to Washington State Patrol.
The crash around 3:20 p.m. Monday was previously reported as causing serious injuries to at least one person. State patrol confirmed the man died Monday evening.
The 39-year-old was driving east in a Volkswagen Jetta on Highway 532 at 64th Avenue when he crossed into the westbound lane and crashed into a Ford F-150, according to a state patrol memo.
The Volkswagen driver was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he died, state patrol reported. The Ford driver, a 43-year-old Stanwood man, was also taken to the hospital.
The deceased had not been identified as of Tuesday afternoon.
