SNOHOMISH — A man was shot and killed south of Snohomish following an argument early Tuesday morning, deputies said.
Around 2:45 a.m., two men, aged 58 and 29, got into an argument that turned physical in the 11000 block of 206th Street SE, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said. The 29-year-old was shot.
Deputies pronounced him dead at the scene. It was unclear if the two men had a prior relationship or what were they arguing about.
Detectives took the 58-year-old man into custody for questioning. As of 10:30 a.m., the suspect had not been booked into the Snohomish County Jail, records indicate.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of the man’s death, as well as his identity.
It remained an active investigation Tuesday.
