MUKILTEO — A Mukilteo man who was missing for over 24 hours was found dead Sunday afternoon.
Kook Byung Choi, 84, was reported missing for about a day Sunday morning. He was last seen around the Harbour Pointe Golf Course, and did not have a phone or drive a vehicle.
Search and rescue found him in woods nearby, according to the Mukilteo Police Department.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death, but Mukilteo police did not suspect foul play.
Mr. Choi has been found deceased in a nearby wooded area. His family has been notified. Thank you to all who helped. The medical examiner will determine the official cause of death. No foul play is suspected at this time. Our sincere condolences are with the family at this time.
