BOTHELL — Four men were sent to the hospital Saturday morning after a shooting north of Bothell, police said.
Around 3:40 a.m., the men were wounded in what police called an “apparent gang related shooting” in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 2005 185th Place SE. Two were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
One of the men was in serious condition, Harborview spokesperson Susan Gregg said. The other was in satisfactory condition.
Investigators believe multiple people fled in a white car. Witnesses reported four people were in the car, sheriff’s Lt. Dave Hayes said.
Around 4 a.m., two more men were dropped off at Swedish’s Mill Creek campus with gunshot wounds, according to the sheriff’s office. They were transferred to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Police believe these men were the ones who fled the Bothell-area scene. Any other people in the white car hadn’t been found Saturday morning.
Police gave no apparent motive for the shooting.
And who instigated the shooting was unclear. The wounded men were not cooperating with investigators, Hayes said.
“Clearly a crime occurred,” Hayes said. “… But there are a lot of unknowns at this point.”
Detectives continued to investigate Saturday.
This was the second Snohomish County shooting that sent multiple people to Harborview in three days. On Thursday, a man and woman were sent to the Seattle hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting near Lynnwood, according to police.
The suspect in that shooting was accused of killing a woman in the Lynnwood-area home and a man in Marysville earlier that morning. He was held in jail on $5 million bail Saturday.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
