EVERETT — A man and woman who died in an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday have been identified.
Just before 7 a.m., police were dispatched to an apartment in the 9900 block of Holly Drive, Everett officer Kerby Duncan said. Officers found a witness who told them a gun was pointed at them inside one of the apartments.
Officers forced entry into the apartment for a welfare check. Inside they found Hashawna Coleman, 40, and Kierre Scott, 41, deceased with gunshot wounds. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office identified them Friday. No arrests were made and no suspects were believed to be at large.
The medical examiner’s office determined Coleman’s manner of death was homicide. Scott died by suicide.
