Police: 1 shot, killed at Everett storage facility

EVERETT — Detectives were investigating a fatal shooting outside an Everett storage facility on Tuesday.

Everett police responded around 6:20 a.m. to the scene in the 3800 block of Smith Avenue. They found a person had suffered a gunshot wound. Officers tried to save the person, but could not.

Few other details were given in a news release Tuesday evening from the Everett Police Department.

“This is an active investigation and Everett Police will share more information as it becomes available,” police wrote.
