EVERETT — Three teenagers were arrested Wednesday evening after police heard gunfire in downtown Everett.
Around 5 p.m., Everett police on patrol heard gunshots near 26th Street and Lombard Avenue, Everett police spokesperson Ora Hamel said.
Officers found no one injured by the gunfire, according to police. Multiple roads were shut down while police investigated.
Police took three teenagers into custody, each with a gun on them, according to police. Two were arrested for investigation of unlawful firearm possession, unlawful discharge and second-degree malicious mischief. The other teen was arrested only for investigation of unlawful firearm possession, Hamel said. All were booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center.
