Shots fired by Spokane police on Saturday night

SPOKANE — Spokane authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Saturday night.
Shots were fired as police investigated a report of domestic violence stalking. The Spokane police department says officers found the suspect erratically driving a stolen vehicle. At one point the suspect, who has not been identified, nearly hit an officer.
The incident ended near the intersection of Post and Montgomery. Shots were fired and the suspect was transported to a local hospital.
The Washington State Patrol is managing the investigation.
