EVERETT — Linda Redmon, the mayor of Snohomish, will deliver her annual State of the City address on Saturday.
The speech, which will take place 11 a.m. Saturday at 105 Cedar Ave., will focus on “our community’s legacy, what we are doing today, and what the future holds for the City of Snohomish,” a city press release read.
Redmon previously served as a City Council member in Snohomish before being elected as mayor in 2021.
The event will also serve as a food drive for the Snohomish Food Bank. The food bank is looking for items like pasta, pasta sauce, canned foods, cereal, chili, baby wipes and diapers. Items can be dropped off at the food bank at 1330 Ferguson Park Road in Snohomish, or at Snohomish City Hall, located at 116 Union Ave.
The Snohomish Food Bank was one of many throughout Snohomish County affected by federal cuts to food deliveries and assistance programs.
