The Sept. 11 attack on America is the largest tragedy I have seen in our beautiful states in the 21 years I have been in this world. And what almost sickens me more is the idea of American people being behind the recent hate crimes targeting Islamic people in our communities. We need to control ourselves, friends and neighbors if our thoughts start to lean in the wrong direction.
Instead of taunting the people of the Islamic faith, spend your time wisely and sit your rear at a local blood bank, become the newest addition to our military forces, or say a prayer. We need to remind ourselves that the huge loss of American lives was also a product of hate crime.
